Cuisine

Balanced, varied, fresh and nutritious meals are prepared and overseen by our qualified cook and catering staff and served daily in our various dining areas. Meals may be served in the resident's own room if so desired. 
Special diets are observed where this is required. 

Our upto date and well equipped kitchen is enhanced by a Rational Combination oven which is proven to retain food nutrients more efficiently compared with traditional cooking methods.

We have a three weekly cycle menu which is changed seasonally and choices sought through meetings with residents. Special diets are catered for and personal preferences observed on a daily basis.

The menus offer a full cooked breakfast or variation according to choice cereals, toast, preserves, grapefruits, prunes and fruit juices are also offered.

There is a choice every lunch time of two meat dishes with individual variations according to choice. Vegetarian meals are available daily. Tea is a choice of hot or cold options and supper is offered every evening.

Meal times are as follows:-
Breakfast 9am
Lunch 12-30pm
Tea 5pm
Supper 8-10pm onwards


Residents may request their meals at other times in order to keep appointments or to fit around trips out or for other needs. Morning & afternoon drinks are served daily and any additional refreshments for residents or 
visitors are always available. A cooled water drinks dispenser is situated in the main entrance hall.
