All handsets are detachable from the wall allowing freedom of movement for residents with the facility of being able to call for assistance from wherever they are in the home or from outside in the grounds/gardens. A special telephone for the hard of hearing is also available. A smoke detection system is fitted and all staff are well trained in fire procedures. The system is regularly checked and tested by professionals together with the fire fighting equipment, Certificates of compliance are issued accordingly. Regular fire drills and weekly tests ensure alarms and fire doors are working efficiently. Lifting facilities, raised toilet seats and strategically placed hand/grab rails throughout the home make life that bit easier for residents. Wheelchairs are also available. Argo Bath, and standard shower are available according to choice.
